We are available for a wide range of events throughout the year - from traditional brass band concerts to beer-festival style events to christmas events to special occasions. We can perform both indoors and outdoors, weather dependent. As a voluntary, hobbyist organisation, many of our players have full-time jobs or are in school / college - as such, we are generally unable to accept bookings during weekday working hours. If you are unsure if we would be a match for your event, just contact us and we will gladly advise & assist.
What information do I need to include with my booking enquiry?
The more detail you can provide about the nature of your request the better. We will need to know the date and time of your event so that we can check the band's availability. We will also need details of the requirement - our normal concert format is 2 X 45 minute sets but we can be flexible depending on the nature of the event.
How much space does the band need?
To allow for a full brass band plus percussion, we will require a space of around 6 m X 6 m. We will also need a space to congregate and warm-up - ideally a changing-room with space to store instrument cases.
What equipment will the band need to be provided?
For a normal concert setting, we will require seating for each band member - up to around 30 (ideally armless) chairs. Depending on the format, we may also require access to a power socket for our PA system.
